Join us on our journey to an epic Entrepreneurship Education Tool!

How can teachers of entrepreneurship education in higher education find the right program to teach their students? How can students of entrepreneurship education in higher education find the right program to participate?
To answer these questions, the European Commission (EC) aims to develop a tool for the assessment of entrepreneurship education program (impact) for higher education.

The overall aim of the project is to emancipate European citizens, stimulate skills, attitude and mind-set development towards a flexible and pro-active stance to entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour. The development of entrepreneurial skills, also as part of the wider 21st century skills, is of vital importance for Europe, therefore the EC seeks to identify, monitor and evaluate existing projects/activities that contribute to that development.

This project is called ‘Evaluation of Entrepreneurship Education Programmes in Higher Education Institutions and Centres’, in short: EEEPHEIC (pronounced: epic).

A consortium under lead of Ecorys will perform a study identifying and categorising existing entrepreneurship education programmes as well as their results (impacts). This will form the basis of the design of an online tool that helps educators/students to ‘pick’ the right kind of programmes, in terms of design, intended impact, target group or content of programme.

What are we doing in the EEEPHEIC project that could interest you?

  • European survey among students and educators of entrepreneurship education programmes in higher education;
  • A pilot toolkit that will be implemented an tested together with ‘first-mover’ higher education institutions;
  • A final online toolkit and methodology that will be disseminated across Europe

Would you like to know more about the project?

Are you interesting in participating in the survey, the testing of the pilot toolkit starting fall 2018, and/or would you like updates on the final online toolkit?
